Vintage/older Over Unders

Merkel made and still makes some very high quality over/unders in every gauge. They have beautiful wood and are built rock solid. They've made these for a long time.

I kick myself for not buying a Beretta S57E in 20 guage at the SLC Cabelas a couple years ago. Metal was good. Wood needed a refinish. Was flying home for weekend. $500. Decided over weekend I’d buy it on my return trip Monday. It was gone.
 
Beretta BL-1, BL-2, BL-3, and BL-4 were pretty good guns too, as long as you stay away from the "speed trigger". I walked away from a BL-2 or a BL-3 (can't remember) at the Scheels in Omaha that was priced well under $500. I didn't know anything about the model.
