The view from the family cabin was good yesterday. These two rams were not nearly as tolerant of each-other a few weeks ago, I suspect. Enjoy.

Well I'll be, I had no clue there were big horns in SoDak.

That is one hunt I plan to do oneday. Ever since I was a little kid on a river rafting trip in Colorado. We had a ram with a curl and a half come out on a cliff that hung over the river in front us. He stood there for a good 5 mins. I had lost all interest in the raft trip at that point. Beautiful Animals!!

It would only cost you 10K and 10 Years to pull the trigger on this one!

CSP would be my guess--right?:D

This is the yearly meeting of the Southern Hills herd (Custer SP,Iron Mountain etc. and the Northern Hills herd Deadwood,Spearfish Canyon. It's a very interesting phenomenon, supposedly their way of ensuring genetic diversity. You can see most of their interaction right from the highway 44 at Rapid City limits to 10 mi out from about 2nd week of Nov. until now. They stand right in the road and lick salt. Don't hit one with your car, it's heavily frowned-upon.

There's only two words to describe those pics...1) WOW and 2) BANG!
