To sling or not to sling

I like having a sling...especially when i have to stop to take a goat head out of my dogs paw.

Sling for me on my black auto I usually use for pheasant. No sling on the wood stock guns.

I like long hunts where I’ll walk a long ways and I also hunt with pointing breeds. Therefore, slings on all my upland autos make sense for me.

No sling for me on my upland guns. Like others I have a sling on my waterfowl gun.

I’d guess I have slings on about half my shotguns. All the autos and pumps do and my CZ sharptail has one also. Has that African safari double rifle feel and look to it. Dave

Absolutely yes! I can't believe it took me so long to get one a few years ago... but now all my guns have a sling.

I would not put a sling on a wood, auto loader.
