tips for a solo hunter and no dog

Never even heard of "chirping" for pheasants - but it makes perfect sense to me. I used to have a Gambell's Quail call & used it a lot in the desert southwest - even if they didn't always start coming back to me after a covey bust, it often got them to tell on themselves! :thumbsup:
