Texas forum newbie

Hello from Texas,

I am originally from IA, but recently moved down to the north side of Dallas. I have 2 English Cockers that are my constant companions--great in the field and potentially even better in the house. I'm still adjusting to bird hunting in TX, but have found a gun dog club to join, and have also been able to do some quail and dove hunting. Things are definitely a lot different down here than in IA though. I'm look forward to reading stories of success on here, and potentially networking with fellow hunters.

Haha, no, I have a much better sense of humor than that (I think!). I like to think I can dish it out, so I better be able to take it!

For those wondering, here is the picture in question. The camera made the RED sleeping bag look pinkish.

It's in the picture above; Macy had put in about 9 hours hunting quail in the TX panhandle, as was about ready to pass out. We were sleeping in a camper; I put her on my bed and propped up her food in front of her. For some reason the phone camera didn't do a good job accurately catching the color of my sleeping bag :)
