Stock fitting in Minnesota or Wisconsin

Looking for someone near twin cities or east that can help me fit the stock on my new Benelli.
It came with a few sizes but there are many more available.
If possible I would rather work with someone that knows exactly what they are doing and possibly even has some of the myriad of Benelli Comfort stock shims on-hand.
If I cannot find someone I will begin the slow and tedious process myself. Thanks.

Suggest you copy this post & paste it on the Shotgunworld site under the Gunsmithing thread
Good luck!

What about Ahlmans in Morristown? They are south of the cities close to Faribult.

Del Whitman does gun fittings and he travels some. I was able to get a fitting done with him in Medford, WI a few summers ago. Not sure what kinds of guns he works on but it was an awesome experience and I would highly recommend him.

I get post warranty shotgun gunsmithing done at Ahlman's Gun Store outside of Faribault. It's a quick 30min trip down I-35 from the cities (might be construction at the exit that requires you to go down to Medford, MN exit). They are a top factory warranty repair shop for Remington, Winchester, Browning, Marlin, DPMS and Weatherby and do all other gunsmithing so they could take care of you. They get very busy on Saturdays so I would recommend a weekend visit if you can manage it. They have their own range so you could go shoot it for $15 to make sure. They do have a trap league setup but don't sell rounds of trap to the public as far as I know but that would be ideal.

From their website-https://www.ahlmans.com/shotgun-alterations.html

Personal fitting to customers shotgun.....$40.00

----Customer needs to come into store with shotgun and we will fit while you wait. Gun may have to stay longer if more work needs to be done.

Scheels in EP. Got a fitting there today by one of the most, if not the most, experienced Benelli fitter.

Ahlman's in Morristown, Mn have been my go-to for smithing and stock work for years. I just sent them an Orion 20 gauge to shorten the LOP...

Pat LaBoone at Midwest Shooting School does a great job. He is up south of Duluth but he comes into the cities sometimes and will fit your gun.

If you are just looking to re-shim your gun just do it, it really is simple if you follow the instructions. But if you want your stock bent or shortened that is a entirely different animal. I hate to say it but if the gun fits that poorly I likely would sell it
