Oh yeah forgot that one. Nice report from Wolf Creek Pheasant Camp owner on opener group and some reports from around that area. Hope to get Miller and Old Bank reports tomorrow.
"Hi Chris,
Group 1, with 9 guys, were only short 6 birds for their limit on Saturday. (21 birds)
Sunday, they were short only 2 birds, when my husband spoke with them at 5 p.m. (25 birds)
Otherwise, bird news in Hand County has been severely reduced. A family group (23 hunters), northwest of us about 10 miles, harvested only 11 birds.
Another family group of about a dozen hunted, 17 miles south of Miller for 4 hours and saw zero birds.
Also went to a church dinner on Saturday with many groups of hunters there who had poor results.
I am not sure how the following weeks will do, but wanted to up-date you on our first weekend. I did register for the conference to be held in Huron on December 6th.
Hoping for sunny and windy days to finally get back to harvesting corn and sunflowers!"
