Yup…we call unsafe gun handling out…happens, I’ve been called out…gotta have that policy where it gets called out by anybody who notices it…I’ve been hunting in groups off and on for 30+ years…no issue, you pay attention…most of the time we’re not very close to each other…some times we are…pay attention and have a policy of calling any situations out
My dad was real strict about gun safety, and he would bust anybody's balls who did anything unsafe around him, so I am always very safety conscious at all times.

I don't hunt with people unless I know they're safe with a firearm. Period.

If someone I know is with, and then they exhibit unsafe handling or use of it with me, that's the last time they get invited. I've had to cut a couple loose over the years. But that was on them and they knew the ground rules ahead of time.

I hunted with a guy a long time ago who was twirling his shotgun around like a little BB gun, and that was the only time I ever had with that guy.

The most people I've ever hunted with was two other people, and most of the time I hunt solo. I've never done a big groupon, and I don't wear orange ever.
I did a group of 8 once this year. Didn’t care for it at all. Different walking speeds, different approaches to hunting, walking at different angles. Really bothered me when someone would fall behind or get ahead and didn’t seem to pay attention to the others. “ party hunting not really my thing either. Never felt too unsafe with experienced enough hunters just not all that much fun. Social aspect can be but that was too much

also we are in full blown winter here. I’ve got lots going on right now so I’ve barely hunted unfortunately, and this weather is just making it tougher to sneak out. This website is giving me some fixes but probably not the pup unfortunately. I’ll get out a few times more hopefully.

Might have to get some boots for the dog. She’s struggling in the backyard.
