Small Munsterlanders

just call a breeder they know about the dogs the best. I talked to Tom McDonald from Lincoln NE and he had tons of info. You can go to the breed's club website and find breeders there or just type Small Munsterlander into a search engine.

I've hunted behind several SMP's and have seen a wide variance in their coats. Some have had rather short hair and others have been very bushy. Also the color of the coats can also vary. Most are a liver roan color but you will see some that are predominately white in the body. I would think that if you could fine a dog that had a shorter, white coat it would maybe take heat a little better. I have a friend with a SMP and can't say I've ever noticed any difference in the dog's ability to with stand heat compared to my Brittanys.
