Amazed to find some 12 ga. shells for sale at the local hardware store. But they were $29.99/box. You know, that's damn near thirty dollars. For a box of shells.
Update. The dam appears to have sprung a slow leak and shot shells are beginning to trickle out at REASONABLE prices. Bought AAs at local WalMart (OK, just 3 boxes but its a start) at $8. Also Gun Clubs (prefer STS or AA but given circumstances - GCs do go "bang") at a bit over $7 from Rural King.Finally. A good beginning. Several quality clay loads IN STOCK at Rogers. Post "reset" so a bit pricey - but what isn't, now? You can't shoot dollar bills (or do much else with them, come to think of it).

Outstanding. Curious - was that all they had on the shelf? Encouraging, in any event.Just bought 4 boxes of 16s at wal mart for 8.48. Federal 1oz 6s and 7/12s
Careful - you may start a stampede into Kentucky! The good kind though (mostly peaceful). No they had about 8 boxes of 28 ga number 8s. 2 boxes of 12 steel shot 6s
No, and don't tell anyone but I haven't set foot anywhere near KS for several years. Exigencies, not preference.I hunted Kansas 3 years ago . Washington area. Are you close to that?
Funny!....I wasn't lying after all!
We need to stand together here. It never was a lie, since time spent reloading is time not spent engaging in more costly vices. Of which there are many.Funny!
