Sharptails

Hunted sharptails last weekend in the SandHills, 7 sharptails in about 3 hours of hunting. 4 hunters, 1 adult, 3 kids. Would have had limit easily if I could shoot straight. Very good time, great hunt.

I love pheasant hunting, but there is something about hunting a native species in its native habitat that is very enjoyable.

I have been out 3 days and limited out each time . I have seen more chickens and grouse this year then I have in the past 5 years total.
