Out at the farm again this week and it is amazing how many more birds i am seeing this week than last week. Seems like roosters are all bunched up at the south end of farm and hens are in groups of 10-20 at the north end. Some intermingled of course too and reports are coming in of roosters being found dead on road as they are getting to their "stupid" time of mating season.
Hard to tell if there is much crowing yet or not as there are still so many geese flying over all the time you can't hear anything over them.
Looking out the window now and drinking coffee. Here comes a rooty walking in the food plot I mowed off last night. Lots of food on the ground for them now.
