I HAVE HUNTED 14 DAYS AND HAVE "HARVESTED" 34 PHEASANTS AND 9 DUCKS. CONCERNED THE DUCKS WILL MOVE THRU QUICKLY WITH THE COLD SNAP. THE PHEASANTS WILL BUNCH UP IN THE THICK COVER. Have hunted from Gregory to Leola and lots of spots in between. Northwest SD next. Hopefully the wind will go down. I can hunt at reasonably low temps if no wind over 15mph area. Otherwise getting too old at 66. Last December was brutal.
 
Buck--I may be by myself next thursday if you want to join me for a day...the guys get in that night...I should get in to the house wed sometime...that's the 19th...good luck whenever you get out! BB
 
Sounds like a pretty good season. You are right about the ducks. Hunted around Urich Mo this morning. Tons of greenies:thumbsup:. Me and my buddy looked on in amazement as several groups from 10-40 screamed into our dekes. Done at about 7:30 ducks still pouring in.
 
thats great knew carptom. The ducks seem to be being pushed by this cold front. Just like it should be.:thumbsup:
