Thanks again for everyone's reply. Ellie was a good dog, I just never really had a great connection with her as she came to me as a untrained 2year old which her owners were going thru a divorce.

Just back from a great 2 days in SD. Breez is carrying the torch proudly. Had incredible dog work on Friday. Good dog work today, but the birds were very skittish in the wind.

I had plenty of opportunities to give her away throughout her life. Almost everyone that ever hunted with her, wanted her. She was a sweetheart...

She had a good life, much better than what was being discussed when I got her.
