Bird flu is a bad deal for sure. Wasn't near as bad last year, I think it had something to do with poor upland numbers, and everything that might hold waterfowl being froze up. Or possibly, it was coincidence, I'm not sure.:D
 
My bird flu seems to get worse with low bird numbers because it means I have to travel further from home to find the cure.:D Bird flu is always a popular excuse with the office on my time sheets at work.

gotta be careful your dogs don't get it, they have enough trouble as it is. my last two dove trips were 4 1/2 hr. away in part to check out pheasant prospects, they didn't look good, didn't help my cough much either

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

If it snows, my editor and publisher tell me to get out there and hunt so I have something to write about in my column. They don't have to tell me twice.
