ready, well almost, for South Dakota.

I have the clothes packed setting behind my old man easy chair, boots and ammo setting next to them, tomorrow clean the guns and put an edge on a knife or two, the two burner stove and grill setting at the door of the work shop. The WIA map setting on top of the duffel bag and the predator call setting there as well and my buddy told me to throw a fishing pole in as they are catching fish below the dam, Oahe, now what have I forgoten. And on top of this everytime I go to the door the pups almost knock me over afraid that I am going to leave them. I pulled out one of the guns today and all 3 of them started running in circles. Anyone else ready. :):):):)

Always ready in my mind, maybe not in body. I wish you the best..hope you have a fantastic trip. I have been laid up for a couple of days. Every time I get up to hobble across the room. the dogs all jump up thinking we are going hunting. I think they are going though withdrawal's.

Keep us posted on your success

Onpoint,
I just got over a period where I had a bad infection in my right leg to where I could hardly walk, I finally broke down and went to the ER. I had 3 days of anti biotics through an IV, it was fun walking around with it taped to my arm, got some great looks, and now I am almost 100% again. Wife was visiting her brother and I did not tell her, cannot take a chance of missing my hunt.

You sound like me, never say I give up. My doc says I need to do every thing I can to try and stay active or this thing I have will just continue to take my ability to walk. You go get'em brother. Glad your getting control of that infection. You keep a eye on that stuff. That's nothing to mess around with. Enjoy your trip
