rain out west?

I was wondering that myself, as we've gotten a bit of rain the last two days and it's still raining now.

I got .37 this morning. Missed me on both sides last night. We seem to be in the hole again this year. It's probably too late to improve wheat as nesting cover, but some of the wheat will have better yields because of it. Some is just too far gone and too far along.

I talked to GCB yesterday, and he said they got an inch or a little better out his way. Better late than never I suppose, although they really could have used it a month ago...

Picked up another .24 last night. That's a total of .61 for the day. It'll help, but it's not a drought buster. More forecast for Monday. Hope for the best.

nearly 2.25" have fallen in Alma in the past 24hrs. It reminds me of something a farmer friend once said about KS, "At any given time in KS, you're 2 weeks from a drought and 3 days from a flood."

Much of W KS has missed out on this round of rain. Pawnee and Finney counties were added to the emergency grazing permissions list.

I had 1 inch on my farm in Finney County. It wasn't a very wide strip that got the good rain. It also had some big hail. A good chunk of Ness County also recieved some nice rain. They also had some big hail. Hopefully its enough to at least get the grass and weeds to grow some.

Picked up another .41 yesterday through this morning. Just was sprinkling again, might have gotten a point or two.

crist o friday is it ever going to stop raining we havent gotten a bunch but it has been that piddly rain driven by 100 mph winds
