Pup not eatinG after first big hunt

Took the pup out to central ks to kick up some quail. Did great and worked hard. At the hotel sat night he was jumping on the bed and playing around but wouldn't eat after hunting a good 6-7 hrs. Hunted til noon on sunday and now have him back at the house and still hasn't touched his food since fri night. I mixed a couple of eggs in his bowl with the dry food and we'll see what he does. I figured he would be out of steam but he appears to have some more hunt in him

I've ran into that a few times with dogs...mix a little beef broth with his food. Works for me.

seen it a lot, we mix some stinky wet food in with the dry.

yeah my gsp did that his first time out. mix wet with dry and if that doesnt work any dog will eat a hot dog.

dogs still reliving the hunt so he's not hungry! lol try boiled chicken breast mixed in with his dog food and wait for the broth to cool the pour some over the food works for Remmy!
