Planting more EQUIP cover

I managed to get 20 more acres of EQUIP ground planted today. Still waiting on whether or not the other 20 acres got accepted. I applied last fall sometime and they can’t give me any idea if or when it will get accepted.

It would have been nice to work it and seed it with the rest but no big deal. The big deal is if I don’t find out soon I won’t take the chance and I’ll just withdraw and plant it to soybeans.

Things like this keep some folks from participating in these programs.

Looks like the makings of a good spring for nesting.
 
Glad you are in the program! Dangdable government red tape sure reduces and slows progress! Keep chipping at it!
 
I applaud your efforts and willingness to hang in there as long as possible. Thanks for all you do for the conservation of wildlife.
 
The ground I was waiting on didn’t get accepted. The fellow got back to me yesterday, he was out with covid for some time. Middle aged guy, healthy.

Now it goes to hay ground and I won’t reapply.
