Looks nice bleu. I love that piece of driftwood. Is that something you found?

No, he sent me a pic of it and asked what I thought of it! I said it looked good! So, the Taxidermist found it! I hope it fits in the 4 runner with the seats down. I wanted to find a spot in the house where I could clean it easy, but I don't think that is going to happen. It is going to have to be up fairly high. I will post up when I get her home!!! I wanted that lower bird more breast out. Maybe I can bend the wire if enough wire is exposed. Otherwise I think he did a fine job. Love the raised neck feathers on the upper bird.

You can. Obviously you need to be careful, but you can move your birds into a position that looks best once you have it at the height you want them.

When you transport them, bring a few items that you can rest on the driftwood to keep your mounts from moving around in the vehicle.;)

Bleu, That is nice, I mean VERY nice.
I'm going to have to try to copy that. OK.

Anyone taking or waiting on some birds that they took in to the taxidermist? Or maybe got some back? Would sure love to see'em!!!

That's an awesome pair of birds and an awesome mount! I like it a lot and I'm normally not a mount fan.

Neat bird! I flushed one that was flecked 60% white a few years ago on a WIHA. Unfortunately it was a hen!

Melanistic ? spelling is probably wrong, but I had one of these and crossed to a ringneck and had 2 roosters that were gorgeous out of the cross!!! One is mounted above my head right now. The other one I gave to my friend and he wanted it to grow a little bit more and a skunk got in and killed it!!! He was not happy!! They have some unique colors!!1 Thanks for sharing your pic and Rooster!!!:10sign:

I just posted these on my facebook page, but two nice ringnecks I just finished in the dead mount position. Once they're cured I'm going to add another barn wood board to widen the base a bit. For some reason it seems too small for these birds:confused:. It may be because the rooster on the left is a monster sized bird.
