Just my opinion but Jess & Jim’s is not what it used to be. About a year ago we tried it for a late lunch and a month later for an evening meal. Both of us unimpressed with the steaks. Actually we both had some intestinal distress after the second one. Place isn’t real clean and kept up like it used to be either, all in my opinion. I do remember the good old days though.
Lately we’ve been going to Longhorn Steakhouse for the Outlaw Ribeye or Longhorn Porterhouse. Huge steaks, take home enough for another meal. Same company, Darden, owns Longhorn and Capitol Grille.
We much prefer Longhorn to our past visits to Jess and Jim.
But maybe we just caught them in a poor phase.
