Finally! Pheasant Fest 2018 will be held in Sioux Falls.

I must of had a senior moment when I posted this last night. It's 2018, not 2008. If someone has the powers can you change the title of this thread to read 2018.

Useually is the 1st Saturday in November at least has been the last few years when held in Huron SD...

Feb 16-18 2018.
I was surprised it's coming to SD. I didn't think it would be moved away from the hunters that all the outfitters want to advertise to. It should be interesting.

Not talking about the festivities the state and city of Huron puts on every year. This is the national pheasant fest held every year at different locations around the country.

Best news of the year so far IMO. We have been harping on this for many years. Glad they could get it done. Never have we know so far in advance where and event will be.

The reason it hasn't been in Sioux Falls prior to this is because Sioux Falls didn't have a large enough space to handle it. Now with the new event center that isn't an issue.

SMO, the event in Huron is called the Ringneck Festival. Names are not that close.
