Outfitters

So, an outfitter is one that leases property for the purpose of making it available for hunting. Is that correct?

Letting you hunt for 30 years I would call that a success for you and IMO you have nothing to complain about. They made a decision that was in their best interest. Maybe they were tired of not getting anymore than a 6 pack of PBR???
I was lucky to be sure.My dad represented them in a case in 1974 involving an accident. Most years I got to hunt after Nov.1.They didn't let many people hunt.I didn't leave beer, usually rib eyes. The dad lived to be 90 on the ranch. The 2 kids are in their 50s now.The grandkids are well into their 20s. At least they didn't sell it to a West Coast fondue maker. Its an area that's beautiful with the mountains and hills.I even got a nice gobbler in 2002.It really sucks that these low baggers are moving into this area and outfitters catering to the short bus,Gucci crowd.Dang shame...🙁

Thank you for your definition. It sounds like two parties came to an agreement that they both benefited from.

Yah, like when some mexican sells a ten year old boy to a crreep. As long as two parties benefit no one should give a **** what happens to anyone else.

Well that is a stretch. The difference is one party owns some property, and another party wants to lease some aspect of that property, there is no ten year old involved. No crime committed.

You forget that commerceal hunting drives more and more people away from the sport. A guy used to get by on a handshake and a cold beer after the hunt. Now it's all this low bagger how much money can I get to exploit something that belongs to the people. And these outfitters do hire prostitutes sometimes so it ain't that much of a stretch.
