Wow. what an interesting dog! I can't wait to hear more about this one. I had done a ton of research before settling on our ESS, and I'm not quite sure I ever came across this breed. Looks really good, sounds great. I wish you tons of fun!

I know you put a lot of thought into this and looks like you made a fine choice!
She'll be the "Terror of Texas" on all things game in short order, I'm sure.

SS, I know when you were asking about dog breeds I mentioned watchulhunds. Not many people know of DWs, did you hear about them from someone else, come across them in your own research, or did I have any hand in guiding you towards DWs? Just curious, great choice that should make one Hell of a dog!

Thanks guys This little gal is tough as a boot and has a drive that I never seen before but at bed time in 3 seconds she's asleep

You pointed me in that direction and I sleep on it for many months . This breed sorta stuck out Thanks

Your welcome SS. I'm glad I was able to help. From what I have read DW breeders follow some of the very strictest breeding guidelines and dogs must be proven hunters to breed. Again congrats and great choice, she should turn out awesome.

BTW, if you haven't saw it yet there is a forum dedicated to DWs. There should be a lot of good info on there.

Just join it . This little gal is something else . Very well mannored for a pup in the house but outside nonstop
