I personally think the pheasants will rebound this summer, if we keep getting rain like most of the state has been, it'll be better than the last two seasons it couldn't be any worse I think also the wheat crop is 3 weeks behind giving pheasants extra brooding time
 
I hope you are right. :) Couldn't be much worse than last season.
 
You could have double the birds this year, but if you double the available habitat or triple it because of good moisture it will be as if it was last year. You will never see those birds until weather chases them to winter cover. If there was a 640 parcel that held 0 birds and now that same parcel has good habitat and holds 4 times as many birds. How many of those birds does anyone think they will put in the air? Sorry for the glass half empty. It will take some time.

Sorry Carptom!!!!! I don't want to sugar coat it!!! Let's get better each year is all we can ask!!! Oh, here's one. Kansas got the best college recruit to come in for one year before he goes pro!!!! you need to bring that puppy with you Mustistuff to the shoot as I really need one more GSP, I will have to move out of town or the code enforcement guys will be after me, really a good looking dog.

actually that pic was a mis post. it belongs to our pastor john. we have had a hard time getting pic. up lately and that was the first one out of photobucket or whatever and we got so excited we were going to have pic. finally that it got put in the wrong place. i however own three of the mutts
