Scout just turned Four months old and I had him out at the preserve on some plants and birds. He was great and pointed every bird plus an extra bird that was left over from a previous Hut. He has been doing good with gun introduction and I shot the last quail over him and he brought it right back to me. I was very happy with him today. Hopefully the attachment works for the pictures.

That's fantastic for a 4 month old. My dog just started retrieving birds in the field at 1 1/2. She would return sticks, toys or just about anything but a freshly shot bird. Last week she brought me two quail in a row so I think we're over the hump.
