New vizlsa pup!

Just got word that I will be getting a male pup from a recent breeding. The pups were born last week and he should be ready to come home around the 2nd week of October. His name will be Scout.

They will be related but it is a different breeder. The breeder of Champ got her dogs from this particular breeder.

I'm not sure yet. The breeder will evaluate the pups and then match them up with the owners. This is how I've always had it done when getting a pup since the breeder spends so much time with the puppies.

Awesome! How is Champ coming along?

He and Blitz are doing well. They've been on a few birds the past week and I'll be doing a preserve hunt with them next week. Got to get them ready for the Oct. 7 youth hunt.

How's your pup doing? I guess he's not a pup anymore.

Chipper is a HANDFULL , sometimes I think he is part coyote. lol. Some things he does excellent, others.....well time will tell! lol.

And on Saturday Hailey (the mom of the puppies) ran in a field trial and got first place in her stake.

The breeder is constantly evaluating the puppies and she will match each puppy up with each family. That is what we have done with all of our dogs when we got them as puppies.
