Hello everyone, well as the topic says im new to the UPH fourms but I've been hunting for about 6 years now. My name is Albee, from California currently in the U.S Coast Guard Reserve thus the name. My brother and I have 2 GSP's that are now 2 years old, Remmy (boy) and Mossy(girl) both have just started their second season of Pheasant hunting this past weekend. Needless to say they did great again! i was a little worry because i've been away for training for a majority of the year and my dogs havn't been out hunting since the end of last season but once again the dogs prove me wrong they still got it in them! On the opener this past Saturday while hunting at the Stockton Sportsmans Club Remmy found and pointed 10 birds, but i wasn't able to connect on all of the shots he gave me the WTF look a couple of times lol (sorry no pictures). On Sunday i decided to go out again and met a father, daughter, and a Vietnam vet that didn't have a dog so i let them hunt over Remmy. He was able to the them their limits, i only got one bird that day but that wasn't the point, i was happier seeing the looks on the faces of the unforunate hunters with out a dog. watching Remmy work the field was an escape from reality and thats exactly what i needed. I just need to remember to bring a camera with me next time! enough of my boring talk here are some puppie pictures and a couple of recent ones of my dogs!
