New Tires: Falken Rubitrek?

I put Kumho Road Venture AT52 10 ply's on both my Nissan Frontier and my Ford F-150. Great traction in mud and snow, on rainy roads, no load road nose and they seem to be wearing well.
I will buy again.

I have a Kumho dealer near me. I'll stop by and take a closer look. I like that they have a lot of siping. Thanks.

Take a look at BF Goodrich's Trail-Terrain TA’s. I have a 2020 chevy colorado and they are really nice tires. Just put a set on my 2015 Tacoma too.

Only difference, I dont do a lot of driving in rock fields, so not sure how they would hold up there.

A buddy of mine put a set of Sailun Teramax on his truck. He said they were 10 ply and quiet. I know nothing about them but they looked pretty good.

check out Nokian tires, made in Finland, been using them for about 4 years now. Great on ice and snow and pretty smooth for a 10 ply
After quite a bit of research, I decided to get a set of Nokian Outpost N AT tires on my Chevy Colorado. They seem to check most of my boxes. Supposed to be great on winter roads(3 peak rated), not too heavy(some XL AT tires weighed over 50 lbs per tire), reinforced sidewalls, 60,000 mile warranty(more than most other AT tires I was looking at) and made in TN. Local tire shop has 4 in stock, so I'll get them put on tomorrow.

Pls keep this updated. Im in the market fairly soon, possibly before heading out west. You may not have long term feedback but anything would be great.

I will. FWIW, I found them for $214 per tire...which I thought was pretty reasonable.

Got the new tires installed yesterday at Plaza Tire Service which has locations in multiple midwest states. This is a new store for me and I like them. FWIW, most of the tire shops in my area don't keep tires in the store to look at but Plaza still does. Most have little inventory and they order everything in, so you end up buying tires sight unseen, off website pictures. At Plaza, I got to look at and compare AT tires from Falken, Nokian, Mickey Thompson, Kumho, Firestone etc., sitting next to each other and my tires were in stock. Their selection of AT tires is pretty tough to beat IMO. Price was cheaper than Discount Tires too.

I drove about 60 miles with the new tires installed. Didn't notice much road noise, which is a plus. I watched my mpg pretty closely and based on a small sample, I think my mpg is going to be similar to the Falken's I took off.....22 to 24 mpg with my diesel Colorado. Won't really be able to judge them until I get some miles on them and get on some un-maintained roads but I'll be leaving for my first hunting trip in about 60 days so it's really right around the corner.
