Hey guys; just thought I would let you know that you can no longer make fun of me being a school principal. I have accepted the superintendent position here in Fritch beginning June 1. It does comes with a significant raise in salary, so my delimma is: what do I buy first :rolleyes: ?

As a former Ag teacher and current online professor I commend you on your promotion. I hope the lobotomy that all superintendents must get goes well.

Congratulations! What are you thinking about getting? New gun, new dog, new boots, clothing, rig, all of the above?

Thanks guys! No need for a new truck or another gun at the moment; although I am looking at SxS's in either 16, 20, or 28; however, I am considering building a 2-3 dog kennel in the back yard. Probably concrete with 8x8 or 6x10 kennels; sloped with drain into sewer. Anybody build their own, have plans or ideas?
 
I thought about waiting but the $ was right and I inherit a strong district without losing any staff members. My assitant principal can step right in and I have a coach that's ready to move into his role as assistant. So the timing was right as well. Good luck to you when you make your decision.
 
I think gift certificates for all of your supporters here at UPH would be a good start :D

Very small 2A district in the Texas Panhandle (Fritch). We only have 880 students district wide.

Congratulations!

I know you well enough to know you have a real weakness for shot guns, so somehow I think there will be another one or two added to the gun safe.

I recommend saving the increase and using it to buy land.
