New Rescue

Adopted a rescue Brittany today that was being fostered in Blair NE. Not sure of his age, probably 4 or 5. We're home now and he's getting used to a new place and a new master. Has a vague background as is often the case with rescues. I think he'll do fine afield based on his love of the sound of a shotgun earlier today and his instant fetch of a pheasant toy.

He will be one lucky dog. Way to go! 👍

Good deal. The best hunting dog I personally have had was a rescue lab. I think she knew how lucky she was to get out of dog jail and land where she did. She was uncannily easy to train. Smarter than me most of the time.
