new puppy

pastor john just got home with his new puppy, picked it up at 9 weeks. a couple of things he did right, first of all he picked the right kinda puppy, second of all he bought the pup out of a litter in pretty prairie, kansas this second right is important cause when you get a dog bread and born in kansas you just know it is going to be a hunter, nuff said. cute little shit non the less and with all the praying done, he just can't miss, can't say that for the pastor but he is trying to hit something anyway. this is the best i could do with my brownie. don't know where the name peyton came from, not the bronco's as she is a female

cheers

That is a good looking pup. That head will stand out like new money! If he does as good as he looks , you will be a happy partner!

Very leggy girl with a good length of tail to keep an eye on. That dog will be field ready and eager come fall.

puupy stuff

at the end of two short days, the mutt is retrieving to hand and not down the hallway either, open room, he is working now on sitting when he brings it back. having dinner with him and his queen tonight, gotta make sure he stays on the right track ya know. john is an ol' mule trainer so this pup should be a piece of cake

cheers

Beautiful pup. Congratulations to Pastor/Mule Trainer John. BTW, which came first for John, the mules or the preaching?:)

Pastor got himself a nice pup.

Im pretty sure I know where this dog came from. Do you know the name of the breeder or does he have an outfitting business?

no i don't, but he has an outfitter bus. and he owned the female. so far, after being here for 4 days, the pup in impressive, made it's first wing on a pole point yesterday, not a big deal but retrieving to hand is, including sometimes sitting with it is kinda cute

cheers

Cute, heck that is fantastic.

A pup like that might make a guy want to hunt all weekend, including Sunday morning.:)

pastor john believes that now he doesn't have his own church so to speak he can pray just as nicely in a pheasant field as any place else

cheers

Well, of course. I doubt there has been a time when I've gone hunting when I DIDN'T address gawd, especially when I had Young Bert, the not-right dog.

:D
