New from CO

[Flushing Mutt]

Hey gents. Been poking around here for a while and figure it's time to join. Grew up pheasant hunting in IA. Now reside in CO and have been able to get my pound puppy (catahoula) on some birds in the last few years and have been ecstatic to watch him develop into a very useful but albeit unfinished flushing dog.

I should clarify, I grew up in St. Louis but frequented the family farm in southeast IA near Wapello.

Grew up in Des Peres. Thanks for the kind words everyone and good luck to the CO guys hitting the opener tomorrow. It's my first CO opener and I'm a little apprehensive about the crowds but I guess I'll try anything once!

Welcome and for the record, I love the dog. I have a cousin with a lab/shepherd mix that is amazing on the roosters.
