Any reports on the new Browning A5 20 gauge?
Doesn't compare to the old ones, The 1950's models are best...Any reports on the new Browning A5 20 gauge?
I’ve heard that also. Must be true.Doesn't compare to the old ones, The 1950's models are best...
One thumb up, one thumb down…or, both sideways…I’ve heard that also. Must be true.
I shot a 12 last week, profiles the same.. felt like I was cheating on my old one. If I didn’t have history and love for my old a5’s it would be fineI’ve heard that also. Must be true.
I bought mine in May - love it! Extremely easy to load, very smooth. Typical hump makes sighting/mounting quicker for me. Handles 3" well. Light weight - nice to carry all day...Regards comparing this gun to older A5's - far superior. I've owned five Brownings and still have a 1941 version 12 ga. thats way too heavy for this hunter to lug!Any reports on the new Browning A5 20 gauge?
I've been considering buying one.I bought mine in May - love it! Extremely easy to load, very smooth. Typical hump makes sighting/mounting quicker for me. Handles 3" well. Light weight - nice to carry all day...
The ones made in the 1950s are the best, but I may consider a new one,Any reports on the new Browning A5 20 gauge?
Back in the day I shot a 20 gauge LT 1100 a lot of the time. Then I went to a lot of 870 12 gauge, and A5 12 gauge. I use a sweet 16 a lot these days, and an old ithaca, as well as the LC Smith.I bought mine in May - love it! Extremely easy to load, very smooth. Typical hump makes sighting/mounting quicker for me. Price?I was in a LGS located by Cabela's in Mitchell and the A5 20s in stock were marked down, lowest price i have seen. The LGS owner ordered a bunch and needs to move them out. Apparently the interest has waned. The delayed release, the crate wood furniture and the many 20 gauge auto loader choices have turned buyers off. I would have more interest for an Ultimate or a Wicked wings configuration.
$1477Price?
I thought they were like 1900 something$1477
That's about what I paid last spring...$1477
I had a 2000 years ago.it only held 2 shells,I didn't like it.had one of those goofy poly chokes which suck. The new A5's look like the old B80's to me that Browning used to sell and discontinued a long time ago. They were made by Beretta for Browning. The new version is lighter than what they made back then.
GoosemasterI've never owned a 20 A 5.
