Need some advice. Retriever

Been doing that for over 25 years. My wife prefers the launcher instead of throwing a bumper over the back of her head or 2 feet into the dirt.

Better to land a bumper over the back of your head than a duck on the head! I'm still waiting for my annual bad throw for 2017.

Thanks for the input guys. I will probably invest in one. my wife will be my helper as soon as we get moved and settled in.

whats everyone's thoughts on dummy launchers. the ones that use a .22 cap or whatever to launch dummies? are they worth the investment?

Had them for years--don't use them hardly at all-or very little--ok if used by some one out in field--with shoulder set up like wesks --heavy loads hard on hands other wise--think of wife--

Don't like noise with me firing with dog on heel-- feel they are hard on ears if used to much (dogs) I can wear muffs-dogs can't--

They have their place -but I much prefer -Zinger Winger (remote control) or Thunderbird)

Used to have wife try an throw for me--lead to some not so harmonious discussion, with her leaving the area and referring to me in less than glowing admiration :)and even some couch time for me:rolleyes:
JMHO

I have never met a wife who enjoys throwing marks. It has led to a lot of nights on the couch for me. Stone will find that out shortly. Here is the best advice you have gotten on this thread so far, "Get the neighbor boy across the street to throw marks, before your wife shoves one up you side ways".
