History was made.. 2 guys, 2 dogs, 2 fields, 2 limits.... And a lot of 'em got away...

Was a good opening weekend, although the temp was close to 70... Very few hunters out and about..


Oh, it took 2 hours...

2011 Update

Well, 2 guys, 2 dogs, 3 hours and three fields... Limits in the game bag...

Met up with the third guy Sunday, after he went to train his young GSP.. we saw a few, mostly hens, but #3 ended up with his limit Sunday, He followed OUR wise, experienced GSPs... Hehehe...

Overall, Sunday was training for the pup, and, I think he is going to get it... He did locate a downed bird in the heavy cover for his owner.. they both had smiles... Was great to see a 3 dog deep backing ...

#3 went out this past weekend, with #4 and his Britt... they were 0-2 each... I think it shows that the experienced dogs are THE key..
