Neat souvenir from the SD trip

Last week I stopped at DakotaMart in Pierre to pick myself up an adult beverage. I was looking at whiskey and I see that Jack Daniels had a special bottle out. The "Gentleman Jack" bottle has an embossed pheasant and "South Dakota Pheasant Hunt 2013" on the front of the bottle. The bottles were about $ 32 each. I bought two, one for sipping after the hunt and one to take home as a little reminder of a great trip. Thought I'd share as I didn't see these advertised anywhere.

Thanks--heading back to S.D. tomorrow for a month or so--will be looking for that bottle--dc:cheers:
 
damn thats cool wish there was a crown royal pheasant bottle that stuff i can drink lol thats a good way to remember the trip for sure 519 take care & happy hunting...

You would rather drink Crown than JD?:eek: I'll never again drink crown, had a bad experience with it when I was about 18, but I love a little JD now and then.:cheers:

ill think on it??? ill buy 1 & put something i can keep down in the bottle i think??? just cant do jack we dont get along in the mornings

think im leaving for SD MON be there TUE-SUN???
 
i bet i would sure shoot a heck of alot better thats for sure 519!!!

thanks im just about to watch the weather now for wear im going & set up a plan of attack!!!??? heading to western MN 1st to warm the dog up a little i think??? mostly check the crops wear i hunt in MN...
 
For those that don't like jack or it doesn't agree with you....Gentlemans Jack is MUCH better and smoother than regular Jack Daniels!
 
i think i will be doing the same hunt period as Gpowers hunt tuesday-saturday trying to avoid crowds & trying to get back for MN gun deer if i can???

hope that rain/snow in the forecast is just a few sprinkles or flakes not a major dumping???

when i buy my SD license is it valid the same day like if i buy it tuesday over the counter in SD can i hunt tuesday??? or do i have to wait 24 hours or some time period B4 i can hunt??? ill head out MON & scout & pick up my license if need be???
 
thanks 519 i plan to get it early tuesday & hunt that same day??? i can get MON if need be i guess??? i already have the store picked out & all that so im sure they sell license ETC. B4 i get there

need hunter ID # & gun safety # correct im on file with the SD game & parks from turkey hunting did that on-line so i cant remember???

Smo - all you need is your hunters safety ID. At least was all I needed to get mine online. Not totally sure but don't know why they would delay the start of a small game license. You should be good to go b
