my two mutts

just finished parts of two days chasing pheasants in n. w. kansas. before i left i went down in the basement, found the ol' shoe box that i kept my trusty brownie and after i figured out how to use the thing, tried putting it to work. this is the best i could do. my 14 ga. got left at home, the gun showing is my 20 ga. elsie

cheers

Very nice, :coolpics:! It always amazes me to see pics with snow and pheasants, I've not had been lucky enough to hunt roosters in the snow. Some "winter wheat" out here is already close to a foot tall.

Sweet! nice job

cover

there is cover to be had in the n.w. part of the state, just not as much as normal. a couple of these shots were to serve as a reminder that pheasant like yucca both for cover and their food value, tough to walk in sometimes, this patch produce two roosters and one live for another day, i have never figured out why it doesn't seem to bother the dogs like it does my legs even with heavy hunting pants
