Motels that are hunter/dog friendly

My 2 wirehairs are asking me,begging to go hunting.Missed the KS opener. Texas lease is a no go "drought".Had a good grouse hunt in North country.Need to get my younger wirehair on some more birds.Can someone point me to some user friendly motels that will not break an old peach farmer from Alabama.Plan on starting around Pratt Co. and working My way north and west.Thanks and have a merry Xmas.Sehoy
 
Evergreen Inn in Pratt, clean, fridge in each room, deep freeze for storage, dog friendly, around $57 per night. Good eats in town, big steak downtown.
Friendly people own the Evergreen.......

Pizza Hut, a deli in the old drive-in on the north side of the highway, Cowboy Junction by the golf course, Tropps Nowhere Bar & Grill, and The Gathering Place on Pomeroy Ave.

dont leave anything in the back of your pick up at tropps, that where we were last weekend we had our cooler full of birds stolen..

Second vote for Evergreen if you stay in Pratt. Good place, good folks. Diner next door, but don't expect any biscuits. They're never done by the time you need to get wheels up down the road.
 
I live in Pratt. The Evergreen is the only place to stay if you have dogs. It is on the edge of town and is hunter friendly. The Chapaeu is a great place to eat on north main. Pizza tacos will have you wanting to move here! Call 911 and you have a good chance of seeing me!
Good walk in west of here in Kiowa County.

I have a daughter-in-law that reqested that I pick up pizza taco at the place on the south side the highway when she was pregnant. That was her craving.:)
 
Super 8 in Wakeeney is both hunter and dog friendly. They have a nice indoor bird cleaning station. Waffles are great in the morning.
 
Pratt

Hunted there several times in the past. What is the name of the place that serves prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights? Super 8 was a good place to stay. Used to find quail in the Sand Hills WMA.

that super 8 is the cleanest one i have ever stayed at since they remodeled. the mexican restaurant there is good. Get the enchiladas rancheras, best i have ever had. I'm hungry.

+1 I was there last year it's in a good location if you want to go south or north, I just don't like seeing that F-14 in the park I get bad memories of a flight deck and go into convulsions.
 
There is a new hotel on the edge of hoisington that looks nice. Bird cleaning station, dog friendly, and a little sports bar it looked like. Just a 20 minute drive to all the walk in hunting you could as for. It's right across from the Pizza Hut. Here is the link.
