It's a sad, sad day in Twinkie Town. Ryan is announcing this afternoon that the Twins are signing Gardenhire to a 2 year contract. Two more years of 90+ loses, eh?

I'm sorry to hear that Zeb. The Twins were one of the teams I really liked as a kid.

You think Gardy would get a contract extension anywhere else after 3 consecutive 90+ loss seasons? No way, no how.

He's got absolutely no pressure on him from Ryan whatsoever. Where else or from who else could you get a gig this good. It's the good ole boys syndrome. buds for life.

Oh.. and you know Anderson will be back as pitching coach.

Yes, you guys are enjoying an unusually productive year Maybe someday all of our frequently sorry teams will meet up in the same playoffs. If the Indians can keep Detroit from making it, I might add the Indians to the list of teams I cheer for in the future.
