I tossed one like that the other day that busted in half on impact. 13 is pretty damn cold.
It is about 6 degrees at our house right now. I was going to put it outside for a while and throw it up for a test. But if @That1uncle1776 verifies his says Lucky Dog, I will forego the test! LOL

I've seen that in cold temperatures with some brands. This brand has held up for me regardless of conditions.
If I remember right, the reason I got black and white was because it is easier for dogs to see the contrast, whereas orange wouldn't provide that. However, a quick google shows that D.T. Systems has black and white versions too. I wonder how the raised angled lines work vs the bumps for teaching a soft mouth.

I’m no pro trainer but I believe that Orange bumpers are usually used on blind retrieves. Dogs have a hard time seeing orange. Black are easier for the dog to see in some conditions and likewise White are easier to see in other conditions-especially when you are working on longer distances.

That's what the books say

Molded...Im a clearance rack type besides when it comes to tools and dog food
Not sure if I can fraternize with non-Gucci dog bumper owners.

I was just wondering if they might have reused some other brand and put their name on it.

It is 20s here now. But tomorrow it will be mid-teens, and Friday morning, single digits. I'll test out the Lucky Dog dummy and see how it deals with the cold.

I performed a highly scientific test today.

It was about 10 degrees at our house. I put the Lucky Dog brand dummy outside for an hour or two. I then tossed it up in the air about 30 feet and let it fall on some frozen ice we have on the gravel driveway. I did this 20 times. It landed on each end and on its side multiple times. No shattering of the test subject. Cold hands and feet of the tester.

Tomorrow, I shall repeat the test with excruciatingly similar parameters, but with colder temperatures.
