Met Another Member this Morning

Freebyrd17 was in Watertown this weekend and I had the opportunity to have a cup of coffee with him before he headed out hunting this morning. Great young man (mid 30's) from St. Paul. I'm hoping we can make it work to hunt together later in the season.

I'll be meeting Natty Bumpo from Michigan tomorrow morning for breakfast and then spending the day hunting with him, his 2 sons and his English Cockers.

I really appreciate getting the chance to meet some of the members on this site in person. I've been keeping track of those members I have been privledged to meet and/or hunt with from the UPH site and thus far the count is 18. Hopefully that will increase by a few more by the end of the season. I can honestly say that thus far everyone I've met has been a real quality person. None of them that I wouldn't mind sharing a day in the field with. :thumbsup:

when i joined this site i wanted to meet other hunters for local and away trips. dedbrd(my brother),trusty20,mstand,madisoncounty,jonnyb,dakotazeb,seawolftoo,roosterslayer are the menbers i've met and hunted with so far. i hope to add a few more this year! dedbrd"s a bit of a control freak but all brothers can't be as PERFECT AS ME! :cheers:

Thank you for the kind words George (Dakotazeb) it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and grabbing a caffeinated beverage (my choice being soda). I look forward to the opportunity to get behind your Brittany's some day and hope that my boy doesn't blow a good point!

I have stayed at the WaterTown Days Inn for the last 6 years on my way to hunting the Redfield and Rockham area. I will be there on the 13th of November for 1 night stay this year if anyone in the area stop by.
