does anybody have any good ideas on building a kennel that is connected to my insulated garage for a vizsla any pictures would be great do you guys use heating pads or electric heaters for your dogs thankyou!!!

I buit this last fall. So it's work in the making. (10' x 10') I built a shelf ontop the kennels for two reasons dogs can't jump out from ontop the dog house and I can store my decoys and roping steer (left side of cement) above that way I never lost any storage space in my shed.

the outside I wrapped in tin to cut the wind (14' x 14')

they do someties my buddy has a female outside and all she does is whine and he has a male outside and he couldn't be happier

FC didn't we have a kennel thead once last fall? some of my ideas came from there I was thinking?

The inside panels came from Menards. They seem to be OK the hardware they give you is JUNK. buy new bolts and lock nuts.

I would only by the welded wire panels. My pup pushed a bone out of the chain link fence and when I came home I found him stuck to the fence. Took a long time to get that out of his mouth plus Then there was the vet bill for the infection which was not fun either.
I was going to get rid of the chain link but wrapping it in tin seems to solve that issue also.

That picture gives me the shiveres eveytime I see it.

I have been thinking of replacing my chain link with the panels from menards mainly for looks......gotta keep them neighbors happy. That picture has me sold.

On our last kennel we poured a 35x24 slab 6 kennels on each side 5x10x6 3.5' walk way between the two sides. 4 inch slope to sides with a 6 " pvc cut in half for a gutter drain sloped to a septic tank. I put a 18x31x7 foot sides carport over it. Electic, fans, lights and water. Getting ready to build another before winter hits. Let me check to see if I have any pics.

from last year as we were getting close to finishing it.i will take some and post finished product.

Is is a pic of a few years back. I've poured another slab and added 2 more kennels sense then and roofed it. Will get the new pics up soon. Nothing super fancy but gets the job done.

kelly is her name she is crows little joe and honky tonk attitude bred. she is one of my best animals.

I am in the process of rebuilding my kennels they are going to be 5 feet wide by 22 feet long with sun shedes over the door of the doghouses they will still be on dirt as i don't like concrete but to each their own I will post pics when finished in a couple weeks
