Hettmoe, are these recent photos?

I noticed in one of your recent photos "a little posturing" those two roosters were about to fight it out as if they were starting to get territorial--spring like behavior---but there was a lot of snow still on the ground. Is that the case right now (snow still sticking around)?

I do not participate in Facebook, so I am unable to see the photo mentioned above. The Posturing photo was taken on 13 March, and most of our snow is gone. We still have some pretty good drifts in and among the trees...

I usually use a Nikkor 300mm f4, and either a d90 or a d7000.

Thanks. Not a typical year for snow for us. We had far too much in our first storm of the season, and alot of our pheasants were buried alive.
All except for the big drifts in the trees and creeks are gone now, and the color of green is peeking out. The pheasants are no longer just holed-up in farmyards...they are pretty spread out again, and getting ready for the Spring!
