His first duck hunt at 7 years old. Retrieved 22 ducks in 3 days this week as we visited the wife’s family in Texas.

Ellie has sat out most the season with an occasional token hunt where she can be relatively inactive. Tonight I decided to take her with me for a quick drive. We capitalized on our best opportunity. She tracked down this rooster after it through brush and thickets and came back with it. I love this dog!
