Is it a Double TT dog? “Reed’s” as in TTF Craighorn Mississippi Reed?
She is not a Double TT. Reed is my last name. I just wanted all R’s in her name but the wife demanded the Foxy part.

Great photo! Few people realize what great upland dogs Chesapeakes are or how burr resistant their coats are, as well. The same nasty, weedy burr patch that would mat the coat of my late Springer has virtually no effect on my present Chessie. CBR's only real upland weakness are their lack of tolerance for the heat; due to that same incredible coat.

Y lab

I was referring to the pair in Chessie 67's photo not the pair of Labs in Chestle's photo. If those are Labs...Well excuse my error.

I know Chessie67 hunts blue grouse with his. I’ve started hunting chickens with one of mine. They are surprisingly versatile. She has the tightest short coat. If I knew nothing else about her I’d almost breed her just for that. I’m not the breeding type but she’d throw some nice pups.

Thanks for your response! I encountered both burrs and heat yesterday and you are spot on!
