Kansas Weather Next Weekend

Looks like NW Kansas is going to get the snow unless that low slips South. Dense fog S.W. today. Looks like a lot of wind and cold temps.:eek:
 
this thing is going to blow through pretty fast, temps going to drop 20-30 degrees in a short time, guessing it won't set up as a significant snow event, more wind and temp. drop than anything else...but any precip. would be helpful!
 
Does anyone know or have an idea the long term forecast for MLK weekend in January 2011?

We are heading out to the Dodge City area for our last hoorah of the season....I hope we get at least some cold weather.

N.W. Kansas expect 4 inches of snow with Winds 20-25 mph. Wind chills 10 -15 below zero. :cheers:
 
i looked at Norton forecast, says snow showers Friday evening..hmmmmm, may still happen though....no snow advisory yet.

Norton may be a bit East of the action. I checked Bird City and St. francis! But you never know. Looks like it is going to miss me in Dighton, but I may trek back that way on the way home!!!
 
Friday forecast for Dodge is early A.M. snow showers. Wind chills zero to eight above.
