So the November 10 photo it was just "dangling" from his head?

I thought it looked like another beam but also it looks like the camera took a wierd photo.
 
Nov 10 Camera caught him after the fight...... he walks back out 12 hours later and it is completely gone.......... I killed him Nov 11
 
Have you found the dropped tine? I would bring my dogs over to look for it. Hell everyone else on here would too. Just tell us what you need us to do. You need that drop tine on the mount.

Not Kansas and not trying to thread steal but found the buck Jr and I were waiting g on in Missouri all season today. He hung him self doing a scrape rub type mark is all I can figure. Warden said he will try posting pictures for me when he figures out how to download new camera. I got the antlers but they some how Dont feel right to keep.

:laugh: Turtle, you can give the rack to me. I wouldn't feel bad about keeping it. It's unfortunate you didn't get the trophy the way you wanted, but these things happen in nature. The only thing that would sour it for me would be if I found it dead after some jackhole tried poaching it from the road or something like that. But this way it's still a good story, and you can tell about the buck you almost, sorta/kinda got in 2014, and here's the skull...

I have looked a little for the antler but will be spending a lot of time in the near future looking for it, its like a needle in hay stack but I'm going to give it a shot.
 
Your wife's smile is worth a gozillion bucks! Nice deer by the way! Don't figure I'd have passed on either of those! Enjoy the mounts! Let her pick her spot...........then move the front door!

We discussed over the weekend about the mounts, she found out about the Pin-tail, pheasant and goose that I already have at the taxidermist so with her having something at the shop now it eased the pain of telling her!!!
