Is there a reason for your dog's name?

I name my dogs after old west gunfighters fictional or real. Some are pretty obvious, some are pretty far out there.

Glen Edins Everyday is a Holiday. Call name Doc
Glen Edins Delta Marsh Daybreaker. Call name Ty (Louis Lamour character in the Day Breakers)
Glen Edins Dutch is Fast. Call name Dutch (Dutch Gunderson)

Their will likely be either a Flint, or possibly a Tell pup in the future. Just waiting on the perfect breeding to come along.

Breeders named the last two dogs. Current one is Angus. Last one was Eddie. We thought about changing it but Eddie Murphy had a certain ring to it.

Prior to that was Vince (the Vizsla) and Kale (Weim) after Cale Yarborough but with a K to make it more German and funny because K is the funniest letter.

For the most part I’ve named my dogs after something we saw on the way to pick them up from the breeder.
Springers: Red (already named), Casey (convenience store), Codey (Buffalo Bill Cody road), Mina (Lake Mina)
Labs: Tagger (let 1 of my kids pick the name), and Blue (had a blue collar at the breeder and fans of the STL Blues)
Blue’s official name is “Hashtag Code Blue” which is a blend of my previous 2 dogs names (Tagger & Codey)

Ha… I have a friend how had a cosmo, and now has a Cramer… it’s been very hard to keep it straight.

This is my first dog. The next one likely won't be named Kramer even though I would like to. My wife thinks a female dog should have a female name. Maybe Elaine instead. Haha

For my current female Brittany I was looking for a French girls name since the breed came from France. I came across the name "Brie" which is both a French female name and also a French cheese. I did change the spelling to "Bree" as her registered name is Janee's August Breeze.
