Irish Setter Tamarack Boots

I just purchased a pair a uninsulated Irish Setter Tamarack boots from Cabelas. I've been wearing them around for a couple of days and I think they are keepers. Fairly light weight and comfy. They are a light color so you have to get a little use to that. I've had excellent luck with Irish Setter boots. The ones I've had have worn like iron. These Tamarack's are normally $179 and Cabelas has them on special for $119. Excellent buy for that kind of money.

I have liked Irish Setter Boots for years. I have only one problem, I have 4 pair of other boots on hand. They were hard to buy before Cabala's came out here. I have 2 old pair in my closet I still wear from time to time.........Bob

I wear the IS Uplands, but my son wears the Tamarack and absolutely loves them.

What the heck...just ordered me a pair! Limited sizes so don't wait too long.

I think you will like them Jim. I've been wearing mine around the house, running to the store and walking the dogs the past two days and so far I really like them. Let me know what you think when you get them.

Got my boots in and I think I'm going to like them. Weird color...kind of tan camo green grey. Actually looks like they have been drug through some nice green bermuda grass. They are a little taller than my Irish Setter Uplands but they are very comfortable in the foot area. Updates to come...

That's a good buy on a very nice set of boots. Thanks for the info.
